The mat is comfortable and has nice alignment lines, but the bottom is slippery, causing it to lack grip on hardwood floors. This results in the mat moving around during poses, which is not ideal for stability. Consider your needs before purchasing.

It is very pretty and the thickness protects my knees. It slips a bit in Downward Dog compared to more common materials but this is compensated by the fact that it is eco-friendly. Also, for some reason, my cat doesn’t scratch it, while normal ones she would destroy.

I have been practicing yoga on and off for about seven years now, so I’m not new to the game. Unfortunately, this mat lacks grip, making it difficult to hold poses like downward dog. It feels oddly hard when lying on it, like being on a hardwood floor. Balancing poses become challenging due to the squishiness underfoot. I am disappointed as I was looking forward to a new mat, but this one did not meet my expectations.

I am impressed by the new material and extra thickness of this mat, which provides great support for the knees. The grip is excellent and unlike traditional yoga mats, it doesn’t make your feet stick. It could be a bit wider, but I understand it’s a standard size mat. There is a slight chemical smell initially, but hopefully, it will fade with use. I liked it so much that I bought a second one.

The only downside is its tendency to slip on treated wood floors, but the comfort it offers outweighs this minor inconvenience.

The mat is too narrow and slightly shorter than others. It is thick, which provides good cushioning for the knees, but it tends to slip a bit. The design I received is different from the picture. The lines are not in silver nor as reflective as shown. The color of the top part is matte black.
