A very high-quality mat for vinyasa yoga, muscle strengthening… I haven’t been able to slip on it even while sweating heavily. Minus one star because I think they could have still included the mat straps in the package…

When it comes to yoga mats, it’s worth investing in a high-quality one rather than settling for a cheap option. Cheap mats are toxic, wear out quickly, lose their grip, and are often of poor quality. It’s better to spend more money on a durable mat like the Manduka, which is similar in quality to my long-lasting Prana mat from fourteen years ago. I expect the Manduka mat to last at least a decade, and I’m pleased with its performance.

I found this mat to be too slippery when slightly sweaty. It is lightweight and did not slip on my hardwood floors, but I felt it was overpriced. The longevity may justify the cost, but I am uncertain if I will keep it for that long.

This is the first quality mat I’ve purchased in my 10-year yoga journey. I usually use cheap mats from TJMaxx or Ross. Due to COVID-19, I’ve been practicing at home on carpet. This mat is thick enough to prevent sliding and has good grip for balance. It seems sturdy and the foam looks durable. Found it at the best price on Amazon compared to other websites.

I bought this mat for its light weight and convenience, intending to use it in the studio and for outdoor yoga. However, it is very slippery in downward dog, as mentioned in other reviews. This makes it unsuitable for Vinyasa, power, or hot yoga. While it is well-made, I would not recommend it for those types of practices. It works well for yin and restorative yoga, and also for Pilates. I give it 3/5 stars because it serves a purpose for my yin practice. Avoid this mat if you’re looking for…
