I bought two of these blocks during my pregnancy to adapt my yoga practice. They are heavier than standard blocks, which I find adds stability. However, I struggle with their weight when using them between my ankles for ab exercises postpartum. Despite looking slightly different than in the picture with more rounded edges, this does not impact their usefulness.

My wife and I are doing P90X and we’ve found that some of the Yoga positions are much easier when using a Yoga block. This particular block is the best I’ve found in terms of quality. It’s definitely heavier and stronger than the typical foam blocks. Because of this, I don’t have any worries putting all my weight on the block when I need to.
The only downside of this block would be if you needed to travel with it, as the extra weight could be an issue there.

I am a big fan of this yoga block. I highly recommend the cork version for its comfort and stability. Despite some saying it’s heavy, I find it to be lightweight. I have had no issues using it. While some have received cracked blocks, I ordered two with no problems. Investing a few extra dollars in a cork block is definitely worth it.

Great block! Made of cork so they have a nice weight to them, just what I needed.

I decided to purchase a pair of Hugger Mugger cork blocks after having a positive experience with their foam blocks in class. I was torn between cork and foam but ultimately chose cork for their eco-friendliness and matching my mat. Initially hesitant about cork, I found them to be sturdy yet comfortable, providing excellent support in various asanas. The strength of the cork material enhances muscle engagement and the smooth surface and quality construction are impressive. They are not too…

I initially tried another brand (Maduka) with great reviews, but found them too wide and heavy for my liking. I returned them and opted for the Hugger Mugger blocks, which are slightly smaller and lighter. The half-inch difference in size made them perfect for my smaller hands, and they work well for the half moon pose. Compared to the Madukas, they feel similar but more manageable. I especially appreciate the cork material over foam. The blocks are described as weighing a pound, and I find…
