I adore the design of the mat. However, I suspect the cork might start chipping over time.

I love the balance of padding in this mat – not too thick or too thin. It’s great for hot yoga as it’s nonslip, but for other practices you may need to sprinkle with water. Excited to see how it ages. Update: After nearly 6 months, there are only a couple small spots where the cork has broken, about the size of a pen tip. I use it daily for hot yoga and I’m impressed with its durability.

This mat is visually stunning, but extremely slippery. It’s suitable for stretching, meditation, or slow yoga, but poses like downward dog are impossible. I attempted spraying water on the areas where I place my hands and feet, but the effect only lasts for a few minutes. It’s disappointing because the mat is attractive, lightweight, and comfortable.

Purchased this mat as a birthday gift for my sister. After only a few months of use, the cork started peeling at the edges, despite her not rolling it tightly or taking it outside. She mainly uses it for stretching and floor exercises and finds it cushiony and comfortable, with good grip. Disappointed that the cork isn’t holding up well, especially since I can’t return it anymore. Will have to get her a different one for Christmas.

Avoid purchasing this mat! I was initially pleased with the design and positive reviews of this yoga mat. However, after just 5 uses, the cork portion began to peel off from the rest of the mat. This poses a safety risk, especially during rigorous yoga sessions. Despite no water damage or excessive sunlight exposure, the mat’s quality was disappointing given its price. I had to switch to a different brand for better quality. I wish I had written this review sooner to be eligible for a refund.

This was my first cork mat. I had been using a Gaiam Sol for five years until it started peeling off and dyeing my skin purple. I practice vinyasa and strong hatha with some yin, and a grippy mat is crucial for my clammy hands and feet. After consulting with friends, I got the Manduka Lite but found it expensive and too slippery. I switched to a cork mat for its grip, light weight, and reasonable price. I’ve used it daily for a month and am thrilled with its lush grip for all types of…

I adore how well this mat grips to the floor. In comparison to my traditional Gaiam mat from the past two days, my hands slip less on this one. It’s not a huge difference, but I can definitely notice it. The mat is slightly longer, and I appreciate the pattern for helping with alignment on those off days. The cushioning is surprisingly good. Overall, I definitely recommend this mat. ❤

  8. RT

I absolutely adore this mat! It is odorless, provides great grip, and works well even for hot yoga. The alignment lines are more decorative than functional. It needed some time to flatten out initially, but now it always springs back to shape. Highly recommend it for your practice.
