I regret missing the return window. I’ve tried various grips and everything, but I still slide on this mat. The grip makes it look unattractive, as seen in the pictures. This mat is too heavy to walk with to the yoga studio, but works well once you’re on it. If I had the chance, I would have opted for a regular $20 mat instead.

I waited to write this review until I had used the mat for a while. It had a strong odor at first, but leaving it unrolled, cleaning with vinegar, and wiping it down helped dissipate the smell. The mat shows hand and foot marks but they are easy to clean. It has good grip for vinyasa flow, but may get slippery with hot yoga. The thickness is just right for balance poses. Despite the many positive reviews, I was disappointed with this mat. It is unstable and slides around a lot, especially during faster yoga practices like hot yoga or power yoga. I spent a lot of time readjusting it during class and it even bubbles and twists during basic poses. I had hoped to love this mat, but I find it dangerous due to its excessive movement on studio floors. I will stick to using the basic studio mats until I can find a more stable option.

I am disappointed with the description. I was expecting to receive a thicker mat of 6mm but got one that is only 5mm. I have used this brand before in the studio and generally like it, but providing incorrect information to customers is unacceptable.
