The size and thickness are typical for a mat in this price range. It is somewhat comfortable, but the thin padding limits its effectiveness. The pattern matches the advertisement and looks nice. The mat stayed in place during my initial test. However, it has a strong smell that my dog avoids, so I am deducting a star. I cannot comment on durability as I have only had it a short time.
