    I was pleasantly surprised by these capri-style leggings. They fit well and are thick enough to be non-transparent. I usually wear an Australian size 14 or 16, so I ordered the X-Large. I think they could stretch to fit a size 18 and may be a bit loose for a size 12. Overall, they are good for a reasonable range of sizes due to their stretchable nature.

    I bought The Gym People thick high waist capri leggings in Black, size Medium. I’m 5’7″, 153 lbs, waist 32″, hips 42″. The size chart suggested L or XL based on waist/hip measurements, but Medium based on height and weight. I went with Medium. They are tight, especially in the waist, and a Large might have been more comfortable. They stay in place once on and have a wide waistband with good compression.     I am 5’5″ and about 165 lbs. Both the medium and large sizes fit well. Just a heads up, they are slightly see-through. When you bend over, the fabric stretches and reveals some skin. I wore thongs, so you could only see the black outline on top through the white marble pair. Apart from that, they are soft, offer good compression, but are a bit tight at the top causing a slight roll. Wearing a compression tank top underneath can smooth this out.     I love these! The quality is excellent, the fabric is soft, and they fit perfectly. They stay put without sliding down. I purchased both the capris and full-length leggings. They do a great job of keeping my mom pooch in check without feeling tight. The deep pockets are a favorite feature of mine as they can easily hold my phone, key fob, and glasses case when I’m not carrying a purse.
