The appearance is very appealing and I receive many compliments in my office. However, the sound is quieter and deeper than I expected due to the bowl’s size. The flat bottom seems to limit its resonating capability, making it more challenging to produce a clear tone compared to my other bowls. While it does work and produces a nice tone once activated, it falls short of my expectations. It is a decent option for its price and its size is impressive, but it is not the best I have encountered.

This singing bowl exceeded my expectations – it’s larger and heavier than I anticipated! The sound is divine when I tap it, and it sings readily. The tapper is well-made with real suede, but the doughnut is like a small pool noodle wrapped in lace. It was securely packaged with form-fitting foam. Overall, it’s the perfect bowl for beginners!

The bowl is a good size and has a pleasing tone, but the wooden striker it comes with does not produce a nice sound. Despite the higher price, I would buy it again due to its larger size. It is made of solid brass and can be polished to a high shine. The small circular cushion and wooden striker that come with it could be improved, but using a small hammer with a rubber face can enhance the sound.
