This yoga mat is fantastic! The cork feels amazing on my feet and toes, and the rubber underside keeps it in place without any wiggling. The elephant image on the front is absolutely adorable and brings me joy. The sturdy carrying handle is essential since the mat is a bit bulkier than most. I’ve only had it for a few weeks, so I can’t comment on its longevity yet, but so far, it’s great 🙂

After using this mat for a couple of months, I have to say I really don’t like it. The cork peels off in tiny pieces, the mat is heavy and awkward to use, and the ink from the cute elephant image spreads and leaves stains on other parts of the mat, making it look dirty. I wanted to love it but now I regret asking for it as a gift. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and now I have to buy a new mat.

This mat has been a real joint saver for me! No pressure on my knees at all and my wrists don’t hurt as much when planking. The calm blue/grey color is lovely. It has a slight rubber smell, but I don’t mind it since it’s not toxic like cheap mats. The natural rubber material is great. It’s a bit heavy, but comes with straps for easy carrying. I have purchased several of these mats and they have lasted me well for my hot yoga classes. I recently tried a different mat for $70 but it didn’t match up to the quality of this one. I had to return it and order this mat again. The cork material provides great grip, so there’s no need for a hot yoga towel. Just splash a bit of water on it when it’s new for traction. Highly recommend this mat if you’re in the market for a cork one.

I am very disappointed with this mat. I ordered it on May 19, 2018, and by June 23, 2018, it was already falling apart. As you can see in the picture, there is already a chip missing. Unfortunately, the return window closed 4 days ago. I loved this mat initially and it doesn’t slip, even when I’m sweaty, but it’s no good if it starts falling apart so soon. It was only used for about 20 hours at a regular yoga studio. I’m really sad. 🙁

The mat is stunningly beautiful. It is heavier than the foam mats I’ve used before, but that’s because it’s the “Bentley” of yoga mats! The added thickness has been helpful for my right elbow issues. I’ve used it twice for heated flow yoga and there was no slippage. It feels wonderful during shavasana.

I did a lot of research on cork mats before buying this one, so I knew it might be slippery when dry and only get sticky when wet. I brought a spray bottle just in case, but I found I didn’t need it.
