The foot opening is only about 2 inches wide, even though these are labeled as XL. The top material is cheap and see-through. The opening for your foot is tiny, like a baby sock.

We purchased these for my dad who is homebound after surgery and has hardwood floors. He absolutely loves them! He dislikes ankle socks but finds these to be comfortable with great cushioning. They are more non-slip than hospital socks. The only downside is they run a bit small, so consider sizing up to account for shrinkage when washing.
