      I had an old Lululemon yoga mat that was thin (3mm), which I liked for balance but found too slippery. This new mat is thin and grippy, which is perfect. It’s lighter and more portable, although slightly narrower. It attracts pet fur and dust, but that’s easily cleaned. Sliding on it might be a challenge though.

      This yoga mat is very non-slip and, due to its low thickness, provides a comfortable and firm support. The cushioning on a hard floor is okay for me. The smell is also fine. Based on other reviews, I was expecting something much worse, but I don’t find the mat to have a strong odor, it just smells a bit like rubber, which is absolutely fine for me. Overall, a top mat, exactly what I was looking for. We now have several in the family 🙂

      I’ve been using Jade yoga mats for over a decade. While the strong rubber smell is a bit surprising, the grip is excellent and on par with my thicker mats. It’s lightweight and easy to pack, making it perfect for travel and hot yoga classes on the go.
