Purchased these to replace my worn-out Under Armour shorts and they are even better. Those who complain about the inner lining are likely unfamiliar with men’s athletic shorts – the lining is a standard feature and does not hinder movement. Fits true to size, so order your regular size.

I purchased the Black XL size shorts assuming they might be the “Fitted” style, which turned out to be correct. I have worn Heat Gear Large Regular in the past. The lack of clear indication on the product description about it being “Fitted” might have caused some reviewers to find the mesh lining a bit tight.

I love the inseam length, leg fit, lightweight feel, and liner of these shorts. However, the waistband in the Medium size is too tight for me. Despite being fairly slender with a 32-inch waist, these shorts feel constricting. Even though they come with a drawstring, I find it unnecessary. I wish the waistband was looser, even if I had to use the drawstring. It can be uncomfortable during the day, workouts, and sports.
