This is my third pair of Primos Lites and they are my favorite shoes! It may take some time to adjust if you’re coming from supportive shoes, but after four years of going barefoot, I can’t go back to arch support. Letting my feet be free is too comfortable!

Starting with the negatives, the shoe is very fragile. After walking around 10 miles a day, the sole started wearing out at the toes/ball of the foot within two months and became slick after three months. The outer mesh is weak and can be easily ripped by sticks or pallet wood. The insole is not great, but many people remove it. The size selection is poor and tends to run large, so if you have wide feet, just go with the closest size.
On the positive side, if you have limited ankle mobility…
Patrick Hale –
An item of excellent quality.

The shoes arrived with visible stitching issues, dirt in the sole, and missing original packaging for a +$170 shoe. As a loyal Vivobarefoot customer, I am disappointed by the drop in quality compared to my previous purchases. The shoes feel less flexible and more plastic-like, indicating a decline in materials and quality control. I will be exploring other minimalist shoe options in the future.
Tom Alfred –
Purchased these for my son and he adores them – refuses to wear anything else. Excellent fit and incredibly comfortable. A very satisfied customer.
Dimitry –
The size was good and very comfortable, but a little expensive for what you get.
Rodons –
The quality is excellent and, most importantly, very comfortable. Fits perfectly for EU42 size.

I found these shoes to be lightweight and enjoyable for both running and walking. They feel more stable for lifting at the gym compared to running shoes with spongy padding. I have wide feet and these shoes don’t rub my toes like others do. However, they may be uncomfortable on long runs if your feet and calves are not accustomed to this type of shoe. Check out the Vivo website for the full sizing guide.

I bought the Vivobarefoot men’s Low-top shoes recently and I’m very impressed with the quality and comfort. The minimalist design allows for natural foot movement, ideal for daily wear. They are durable, stylish, and eco-friendly. A definite five-star experience!

This is my first pair of Vivo Barefoot shoes, as well as my first pair of minimalist shoes in over a decade. I’m impressed with the fit, which I achieved using the scan fit feature on the Vivo website. The materials and construction are top-notch. The wide toe box, zero drop flexible sole, and lacing system all feel natural and comfortable on my feet. Walking and running in these shoes is a fantastic experience, but I recommend starting off slow if you’re new to barefoot shoes. Personally, I…

Wearing these makes me feel very grounded. I love them, I can even play tennis in them.

The fit is good if you size down. The appearance is as expected – slim and black, but a bit long-looking. They are comfortable for me due to zero drops, but you feel the pavement and every rock. Durability is uncertain after a few weeks. Made from recycled materials, they practically weigh nothing. They feel like wrapping your foot in fabric. However, the cost is too high for what you get. Thin recycled rubber shouldn’t cost over $100.

This was my first barefoot shoe and I am really impressed. Walking through the forest with it is truly a great experience. The lack of cushioning makes it also great for strength training. Pay attention to the size though. I wear 42.5 and even the size 42 is still too big. With an insole and heel protection, it fits me well. The shoes are also well made. However, the price is quite steep.
