This Whittin Canvas She is my second barefoot shoe. I was hesitant about barefoot shoes for a while, thinking they were only for young runners. However, as a senior who values comfort over fashion, I have become a fan. I find it necessary to wear them with orthotics, as mine are custom made. The shoes are not designed to be sturdy or long-lasting, but they are incredibly comfortable with ample toe room. The canvas material keeps my feet dry when wet and the red color is vibrant. The only…

I love their appearance and overall comfort, but the tongue is too long and stiff, causing discomfort on the front of my ankle. I had to fold it over and tie it to alleviate the issue.

  3. Livier Tovar

I really like these and I intend to wear them with everything!

I bought these shoes for a trip to Florida in 2023 and was pleased to find that they were comfortable straight out of the box. It’s hard to find my size (10.5 wide) in attractive styles, but these shoes fit the bill. They were lightweight, durable, and breathable, making them perfect for a week of walking in Orlando. The wide toe box took some getting used to, but ultimately provided great comfort and support. I didn’t experience any usual pains and found the design simple yet effective. I…

  5. Angelica

Our extremely flat and wide feet fit comfortably in these shoes! The sole is thin and they are very lightweight, which we consider to be positives. They look adorable on my child and are also very affordable.

  6. Rachelle Michaud

The quality appears good and I don’t find them too odd in real life. I should have gone half a size up. I usually wear a size 6.5 in most shoes, and the size 7 makes my big toe touch the front a bit. They are still comfortable, so I won’t be returning them.

  7. Emily

I was drawn to the idea of minimalist footwear and decided to try these shoes. They are comfortable for my wide feet and are cute and well-made. After wearing them for months, they show minimal wear. They can be a bit tricky to put on and take off, not slip-ons, and you can feel the bumps on the path, which is what I wanted. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and plan to buy another color soon.

I kept seeing ads for a different brand of “barefoot” shoes on Instagram, so I checked them out on Amazon. I was disappointed with the width of their toebox, so I discovered this brand instead. I thought these shoes would be a better fit for my super-wide feet. I was unsure about this style of shoe, but I could immediately feel the difference when I tried them on. I typically go barefoot or wear flip flops, as I dislike wearing shoes and socks. However, I’ve been wearing these shoes EVERY…

  9. Terri Fisher

Extremely comfortable for gym use with heavy weights, feels like being barefoot during deadlifts. Co-workers loved the color and the wide width keeps toes relaxed even when standing for long periods.

  10. Jacqueline

The toe spread is not as good if you have some barefoot experience, but they are okay in terms of the foot being able to feel the ground.

  11. Emily Ramirez

I wear these shoes all the time, they’re genuinely wide and made of canvas. They have some grip on the soles but aren’t slip-resistant. They’re not as padded as other wide shoes but are still comfortable, just not as cushioned. They don’t look overly clownish, which was a concern of mine. If you have bunions forming, they’re wide enough to not push on the sides of your feet like another brand I have. I would recommend these.

  12. Stephanie

    Comfortable, adorable, and spacious.

Fantastic quality – a great option for those seeking a more affordable alternative to barefoot shoes. Absolutely love them, and they look great on. I wear them to the gym every day.
