I wear these shoes all the time, they’re genuinely wide and made of canvas. They have some grip on the soles but aren’t slip-resistant. They’re not as padded as other wide shoes but are still comfortable, just not as cushioned. They don’t look overly clownish, which was a concern of mine. If you have bunions forming, they’re wide enough to not push on the sides of your feet like another brand I have. I would recommend these.
